Mohammed iliyas started to identify courses for his son, Zyad when he was 5 years old. He takes pride in upskilling those that are important in today’s world so he doesn’t have to worry in the future. Great hero for any child is their parents.
Mohammed iliyas, a father who is identifying and nurturing his child, a sign of good parenting. Mohammed iliyas is constantly in search of value-added courses of the 21st century such as Coding, Robotics and AI to his son, Zayd. Mohammed iliyas understands education is the key to success. Hence he is always looking for ways to help Zyad pick skills at an appropriate age and create a path of a better future. If his son can become self-learner and understands his reponsbility which is crucial for his career. He would be proud of himself and his child.
By Profession Mr. Mohammed iliyas is a Chartered Accountant, working in Qatar & his son Zyad is 6 year old in Grade 2 studying at Newton British School.
Mohammed iliyas became fascinated with the buzz of coding during lockdown. His search to identify the right organisation began. At age 5+ Mohammed iliyas introduced Zyad to Coding & Robotics who was a novice to computers. Mohammed iliyas finds his son way ahead in picking learning as he tried teaching reading at the age of three. Mohammed iliya thinks children must be provided with challenges, though it might be difficult in early stages but it does pay off eventually. Such a try has made Zyad an inquisitive child. Mohammed iliyas decided to give his son coaching in code & robotics and he finds it was a right decision.
Mohammed iliyas think a product like QtPi robotic kit becomes great when there is a right coach for kids. Then learning is fun and children can explore the world through technology and engineering.
The QtPi kit includes a robot and an app-controlled interface, designed to make it easy for people of all ages to learn programming. This kit can be used by people of any age, but it is perfect for young children who want to learn the basics of STEM without having to go through difficult technical books or videos.
One of the most important aspects of this robotic course/ project is the coach/mentor who supports students in their learning process. A mentor will guide them through the coding process, provide feedback on what they did right or wrong, and help them overcome obstacles that they might not have!
Listen to the wonderful journey of a father upskilling his child!
